Forest Development Plan

Multi-criteria geospatial analysis for optimal forest plantation site selection, integrating soil, logistics, and market data.

Project Overview

Developed a comprehensive geospatial analysis framework to identify optimal locations for new forest plantations. The project integrated multiple data layers including soil characteristics, terrain analysis, existing infrastructure, and market proximity.

The analysis aimed to minimize implementation costs and maximize returns by identifying areas with favorable growing conditions while avoiding high-risk zones where transportation costs would erode profit margins.

Identification of higher-risk areas based on implementation costs and price decline due to transportation costs, enabling data-driven plantation decisions.
